early March, Chairman David Richards wrote a letter to members of Motorsport UKAddressing the FIA aimed at the organization’s president Mohammad Ben Sulem and F1 and his outlook for his entire motorcyst operation. Exactly one month later, the FIA finally posted a response to Richards’s letter For the Speaker to share it on Motorsport UK site and magazine with directionAnd Richards, in his response posted on Wednesday, was not enthusiastic about what the organization had to say.
Richards said, “The disappointing in Alberto’s letter is to disregard for very real concerns, which is not only expressed by itself, but the increasing number of people, that FIA’s rule and constitutional organization is becoming more aparthered and concentrated in the hands of the President.”
Shortly after Richards refused to signed a non-recommendation agreement, the entire forward and back began, which was necessary for the Speaker to attend a World Motor Sports Council meeting. His letter published in the march issue of the Motorsport UK magazine to his members quoted that he called “The Final Straw” in the handling of the FIA and completely underlined his concerns for the future of the FIA under the leadership of Ben Sulem, while these concerns were not addressed.
He depicts specific points as to what the NDA brought about his hesitation in signing the “gagging order” (as he referred to it), and how those items did not fall into laws already established within the FIA. He also emphasizes some harsh changes within the organization, given that “the situation has deteriorated with media reports, confirming that many senior members and volunteers of the FIA have either been fired or resigned under an opaque cloud.” He is particularly referring to changes made in audit and ethics committees within the FIAWhich transferred the power of decision to the FIA President from the Compliance Officer and the Committee in the new approved laws, which raised moral questions uninterrupted.

The FIA response, written by its general manager, Alberto Villarial on 7 April, Richards in his initial letter did not fully address the concerns brought in the table. Villarial focused on Richard’s issues around Richards, told Richards, “FIA, as is common in business, and I am sure many organizations you lead to procedures for safety and safety of confidential information, including confidential information. Such compromises are a standard part of business.
“The unauthorized disclosure of information not only damages the FIA, but also reduces our ability to meet our mission to meet our mission to meet our mission, which affects the objectives of increasing motoritsport, and cultivates innovation in the game we love.
It is therefore surprising that the steps taken by the FIA to preserve privacy were supported by a super majority of members of the World Motor Sport Council. Keeping this in mind, we struggle to understand your reluctance that your fellow members are bound by the same terms and conditions, given that you damage many leaks from the World Motor Sports Council, which have been made for the Mission of the FIA.
As a responsible member of the council and someone who works with integrity, I believe that you may not have any proper objection to an agreement that only acts to strengthen the existing duties of privacy, and which conform to the best practice for FIA’s responsibilities and organization to stand up. There is no question on this that your letter is its specialty due to “gagging order”. ,
While this particular section of Villarial accepts at least Richard’s concerns about the NDA, it is not necessary that it does not go into any depth nor does it address specific concerns mentioned in the initial letter.
The second half -year -old missile reads in a similar style, but takes a more PR approach as it states that Ben Sulem has experienced the development for the FIA and the Champions, due to its leadership, the organization has experienced due to its leadership, with the 24 million deficit of 2021 in the “estimated € 2.2 million improvement” in 2024, which does not include any kind of concerns.
Villarial not only closed his response with a request to share his letter, but said that the FIA is proud that Ben Sulem is proud of what has been completed, while the organization runs the future of motor).

Richards stated that when he welcomes an open and transparent dialogue on the performance of the FIA, “the organization completely disregarded his concerns in his follow -up letter posted with an FIA response.
“I hope to hop that despite Alberto’s letter, rejecting these physical issues, we can still have a sensible discussion with the legal consultation of the FIA and solve these points. They are not impossible, but as it is currently written that they are completely unfair. So various other parties have expressed the same concern that has not reached me on that occasion.”
He closes with a note that he will be in the Middle East and expects to discuss his concerns and meet with Ben Sulem to find some common ground and possible solutions. And while Ben Sulem is expected to stay on the ground for this F1 season for the first time in Bahrain, his time will be limited as he will probably be busy with countless individuals who need to talk with the FIA president about other pressure cases including Concord Agreement.
