British Airways crew member accidentally deployed emergency slide at airport


A British Airways crew member accidentally deployed the plane’s emergency slides London Heathrow Airport On Monday morning, the flight was delayed by hours.

A flight bound for Brussels was delayed by almost three hours due to an employee error. British Airways a spokesperson told Fox Business Digital on Tuesday.

“We apologized to customers for the delay and our teams worked hard to arrange replacement aircraft so customers can travel with us as planned,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

The spokesperson said there were no customers on board the plane at the time of the incident and emergency services responded as standard precautionary measures.
