First: Faced with a small back porch that had structural problems and a leaking skylight, these Austin, Texas homeowners turned to CG&S Design-Build for help. The first item on their wish list was a safe outdoor space. Project overseer Sarah Hayden says one of the homeowners was “afraid to even go out on the porch because it was in such bad shape.”
Also at the top of the list was a gathering place for outdoor entertaining that provided views and access to the pool. “People didn’t want to feel bullied when they were out,” Hayden says.
