A large part of the project included transferring primary suits. Knight-Vilcock found a small existing hall bath, part of a hallway and two small cupboards and found space for primary bathroom. (See after the floor plans below and later.) This allowed a double vanity, a generous shower stall and space for additional storage.
“Heather named the project as ‘MCMR’, which is for the midcover modern revival,” says Lu. Style-wise, this meant that the design honors the modern modern vintage of the house, while giving it a modern suitability and a warm biological experience.
This view of the bedroom shows a new panel pocket door partially open to the left. “There is a small hallway on the left side of this door. Customizes the space using a pocket door,” Luu is called.
