Was running for the first time after the test in NovemberYouTube Music is now playing a big redesign on Android and iOS.
The song/video switcher is no longer at the top of playing, but the cast remains next to the three-dot overflow menu.
After the name of the song (which can be tapped to access Connected) And artist, now you get the control line. This does not actually affect the use of one-hand, but it carries things forward on the screen.
This is followed by a new boxy scrubber that relieves the playhead and becomes fat when you interact with it.
Old vs new
All other controls appear in a carousel which is more compact. After the thumb/below, comments, and save, you get SongEliminating the lower line of the tab with YouTube music. The video/song switcher is the next, with shares, downloads and radio rounding things.
There is a new drag handle for the new “next“The section that immediately lists which playlist or radio you are on. You can tap even rather than slipping with a new double-split view that is very good and efficient.

In this scene, the actions of the Hindola disappear and you get to see the four songs, with this queue. This scene is not constant and stops when you play now.
Related and song sheets (which are no longer based on theme) can be fully expanded, but they otherwise show the song you are currently listening and play in the top row.
Podcast controls get the same treatment.
This YouTube music is now rolling out with Server-Side updates playing redesign. If you are not looking at it yet, stop the app information or remove it from the multitasking menu.
