After weeks of leaks and speculation, Xiaomi has officially pulled the curtain back to the smart band 10, the latest add to its wildly popular Fitness tracker Make a line. In front, the tenth generation band has a large 1.72 -inch AMOLED display, thanks to narrow (and now symmetrical) bezels. The screen combined with 1,500 NIT peak brightness and 60 Hz refresh rates, which should translate into more vibrant view and smooth interactions.
As Product page On Xiaomi’s website, the device is available in Midnight Black, Glassel Silver and three metallic finishes of Rose, or as a premium ceramic version in the white. However, the company’s press release includes an additional ceramic variants along with a green metal option. Regional availability may be different. All builds can be paired with a wide range of strap materials, from fluororubar to leather from a knitted silk band. Tracking pill can still be worn beyond the wrist, including the new metallic pearl chain available to wear a device as a pendant. Users can also personalize the device with a large selection of watch faces, including entertaining mini-marks designs.
The tracker still retains the design of the line and can be combined with a variety of band materials or even worn beyond the wrist.
As far as fitness tracking capabilities are concerned, the band manufactures a new 9-Xis motion sensor, more than 150 workout mode, AI-in-operated training equipment and key upgrade on its predecessors that align the device with growing market trends. Users can expect individual recovery plans and adaptive insights, floating stroke detection, on-run running guidance, and enhanced sleep detection. Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is also the first in the series to support heart rate broadcasting, which is more capable partner for serious athletes dependent on connected fitness apps.
Already for embedded users in Xiaomi’s ecosystem, Smart Band 10 also provides strict device integration. From their wrist, users will be able to control a wide range of products, including everything from tablets to thermostat. Xiaomi also announced a modular desktop dock that can act as both a speaker and a smart alarm hub. Meanwhile, the band claims up to 21 days of battery life to provide a lot of uses between allegations in the band. Always-on display is enabled, that imagination is cut for 9 days.
Despite additional features and a large performance, Smart Band 10 still claims battery life for 21 days.
Xiaomi smart band starts with 269 RMB (~ 37) for 10 standard metal models, while the NFC-competent version is priced at 319 RMB (~ $ 44). The top level ceramic version comes in 379 RMB (~ $ 52). With the previous generations, global availability is expected to follow soon, although Xiaomi has not yet been confirmed an international release date.
