I recently applied for a legal job at a large investment bank. I asked this question after the second of three interviews. I haven’t been asked for a third interview yet, they said they will decide by Christmas, so they are in no rush.
ASC – Gemini, Mercury is L1
10th cusp – Aquarius, Saturn is L10
Moon in H5 of Libra
L1 is being applied by Mercury square to L10 Saturn.
L1 is retrograde.
L1 is not the only planet this applies to Saturn. Sun and Jupiter also apply. Notably, Jupiter also rules L7 – possibly regarding open competition.
Jupiter is retrograde and does not complete its square with Saturn.
The Sun will form a perfect square with Saturn.
Shortly after the Sun, Mercury returns to full position with Saturn.
Partly, I wonder if Sun is simply taboo? But, Jupiter is not as perfect as L7, but L1 does. Possibly the ‘competitors’ don’t get the job or change their mind (retrograde to direction) then I get an offer.
Saturn is in Pisces – decline and loss of L1. Who hates/doesn’t support whom here? If that means maybe I don’t like the environment there – then I have to admit that the manager I report to, from the second interview, I thought was a bit rude, short-tempered and irritable. Saturn gains Mercury in place of its decline and loss.

Moon gets Saturn but Saturn does not get Mercury. I want the job more than they want me?
