With two major wins in a row, Red Bull has gained some speed in Formula 1. Italian and Azerbaijan Grands Prix also developed memories of the days of the 2023 Vastapane’s pride.
However, a few weeks before those win, such a scenario seemed unimaginable. Red bull was struggling on tracks like Hungering, where Verustapane finished only ninth, even ended behind the racing bull. Liam Lawson,
The four -time world champion admitted that many times he wondered if the Red Bull could still change things in this season. “Finally you always go through some difficult moments,” he commented. “And of course, sometimes you think, ‘Is it going to recover, can we still change things?”
“But on the other hand, there is no meaning to think in this way. You will always have to look for a solution, talk to the people inside the team, and in a positive way ideas have to be exchanged. At the end of the day, what is all this and that we have done.”
Since the summer break, things seem much better for Milton Keins-based squad, thanks to a new floor and Helmut Marco described as a slightly different philosophy.
“We do not have to try so many things with the car. It makes it more enjoyable to make those radical changes during the race weekend,” said Verustapane.

Asked by Autosport whether the Red Bull was now able to find the operating window of RB21 – although it could be smaller – more often, he replied: “Yes. And it’s below for all the things we have learned about this car.”
Although Verustapane wants to wait for the Singapore Grand Prix and makes a hurry to talk about a title bid, Red Bull has undivided progressively progress. It is also reflected in the padock, where the atmosphere in the red bull is much better at the beginning of this year, with one Crisis meeting after disastrous Bahrain round,
“We have experienced a lot of incredible moments simultaneously in the previous years. So when you undergo a difficult period, of course, it is not pleasant for anyone inside the team,” Verustapane reflects.
Therefore, their recent victory tastes even more sweet: “When you see things are going well again, which makes those victories extra special, especially because how we meet together through bad moments. The atmosphere is very good now, and it is also important.
“It gives people a little more confidence, and sometimes this confidence is really important. They see some light again at the end of the tunnel and know that the one they are working on is really fine.”
The new team’s boss Laurent Macis and technical director Pierre Cavacha played an important role in this turnaround, and asked what was her, Vastapen laughed and said: “Well, just some are running.”

Success actually comes down to the team communication with Verustapane, who first mentioned that Mecis asks the “correct question”.
He said: “We have discussed a lot about how we can improve things and how we can test some elements. Finally it is revealed that we have handled it quite well.”
In a way, the current trajectory fits a pattern that Red Bull has shown earlier. Before WestPain began winning the title, Red Bull inspired it to win the race to start the weather at a slow pace before the development of the car.
“Yes, this is true, but it was still a very different situation,” Vastapane finely gave the nuances. “It was also related to aerodynamics and upgradation, but it is a bit different with the budget cap now.”
