Why my 12 -year -old kindle is still a favorite piece of my technology

I am a technical man with a lot of gadgets I use regularly. These include me phone, Gun ShotSmartwatch, Bluetooth speaker, laptop, headphones, earbuds, and more. But when I look at my electronics lineup, a device sticks to a great technique as a symbol. It was cheap, old, but still looks almost new, and I have no reason to buy any new. This is my kindle, and I like everything about it.

My phone needs to be charged more or less daily and if I do not take care of it, it can be very addictive. My Windows laptop requires an update continuously, and I keep receiving all types of pop-ups that feel that they appear every five minutes. When I need them, my headphones are always in charge, my Bluetooth speakers will not connect to one of my phones, and many of the many apps I want to use on my tablet are not adapted to a screen.

Technology is great, don’t misunderstand me. This is just that I have a problem with more or less every device. And the more expensive it is, the more I usually with it, and the more disappointing experience is overall. Gadgets such as phones and tablets also have to change in every few years because the battery starts showing, wear and tears, and the latest model I want that comes up with features. It is an expensive hobby.

Technology should help us in many ways, whether it is saving time, learning new skills, or something with those lines. Instead, it has absorbed some into its equipment, affecting their social skills and awareness about the world around them. And this is not their fault, because, as I mentioned, many most popular apps are excessive addictive.

There is nothing really addictive about my kindle, however, not at least the same way. I never felt that the device gave me ownership in the same way that a call could, and I really never think about it.

So my kindle is not just an ordinary e-reader; This reminds what our relationship with technology should be. It does not shout to my attention, demands constant updates, or forms a cycle of despair and planned untraft. It performs its single function with cool efficiency and complete reliability. While the technical industry pushes us to more complex, connected, and eventually more sought -demanded devices, my kindle stands as a will for a different philosophy: that the best technique does not only offer endless features, but provides spontaneous service. It gives me the right to do what I want to do, without coming on the way. This allows me to be under control, and if you ask me then all the great equipment are going to do.
