Factory KTM Motoogi Riders are quietly optimistic in front of Italian Grand Prix after their productive test day at Eragon.
Pedro Acosta Underlining aspirations for the coming weekends, after Aragon, he discussed Asha at the KTM camp.
“The first GP of the Aragon season where we were quite strong,” Acosta said. “Well, we were not able to fight for the podium, but we were able to make some passes at the beginning of the race and maintained more or less speed.
“Last year was quite well here, it is true that Pecko (Bagania), Mark (Markets), George (Martin), and (Annie) Bastianini were at another level, but let’s try.
“At the end of the day we need to set our goal to create a weekend like Aragon, as close to the podium as possible and if we can fight at the beginning of the race, it would already be a good weekend.”
Even though KTM had a lot of new bits to try in Aragon, Acta has kept it difficult to take decisions.

Acosta said, “I was quite happy after the Aragon Test, but it is quite difficult after the test to have a clear conclusion because the track is much better during the weekend.”
“But anyway, let’s see. I think we can use something new here, but there is nothing outstanding to solve our problems for this (weekend). Let’s see if we can make it like Aragon at the end of a week where we were constantly and top and see where we can reach on Sunday’s race.”
Even if he made only one point in Aragon, Brad Binder The motorlands were encouraged at the speed shown in the circuit and believe that Mugelo may also be a good track for the Austrian manufacturer.
“Aragon was a better weekend for us, so I hope things will go here very decenly,” Binder said. “Honestly, I think a sharp-flow track can be good for us and I am excited to start.
“We found some small things that were giving us a little extra margin during the Aragon Test. Now we are going to keep them all together. The plan is that we are going to start how we end there and then we can start working on our set-up and just start working on fine things.”
KTM is a missile under Straits and is strong under braking, but traction suffers from problems and poor turn-in capabilities. The binder hopes that the aero change will improve both these areas.

“Later this week we are going to start with a little different aero accessories,” the binder explained. “There is nothing, but it seemed to make things a little safe on the front and give us a little more margin on both wheels.
“This is a different set-up requiring we are currently used.
