As an editor, there are some rules (or “no-no” as I say) is taught to follow: no run-on, no reps, and of course no more use of amazing points. So when I started noting the latter popping under the title of contemporary kitchen book, I had to reveal the mystery. Why was this effigy punct everywhere?

These books, and the authors who make them are trying to share something more personal with the readers, a different voice that indicates comfort and shows you positivity in some words as much as possible.
