I love the 30 Days of Night franchise, so I was very excited to learn this week that it was getting a reboot setting sunAnd this first issue did not disappoint. 30 days of night: setting sun Written by Rodney Barnes (chiladelphia), who worked with series original writer Steve Niles to bring the new story to life, and features art by Chris Sheehan (slaughter houseIn 30 days of night: setting sun20 years have passed since the vampires descended on Barrow. Teenager Jalen James arrives in a remote Alaskan town to stay with his uncle just before the long polar night, looking to escape his life in LA. But unbeknownst to the townspeople, vampires have begun to stir again, with vengeance on their minds and their sights set on Barrow.
