A year after its launch, it is difficult to catch the X100VI of Fujifilm. Despite trying to increase production capacity, the supply has increased significantly and the company is struggling to catch.
So, if you are fed up waiting for the X100VI to be available, and do not want to line the scalpers on eBay, what are your options?
Why do you want an X100?
The unique word is devalued by misuse, but I argue that the X100 series provides a unique combination of style and capacity. Some users will not care that this is a beautiful looking camera, other possible image will not care about working to squeeze every last drop of quality, but the X100 series appeals to both groups and in between.
Therefore, before you can choose an option, it is worth being honest with yourself which aspects of IT appeal to you. If it is a small camera desire with purely good image quality, other options may be. If it is a classic aesthetics, you will find the task difficult. And if it is a bit of both, it can be better to wait until you are available.

What are the mirrorless options for X100VI?

Canon has left its EOS M system, so the EF-M22 mm is not a contemporary body to mount in the F2 lens. All the GX models of Panasonic look different dated and, while the OM system still creates a pen camera, E-P7 is sold only in some markets.
An OM-5 with a 17 mm F1.8 gives you some retro attraction (although call-back for a very different style of camera). If you pay an image quality cost for steps to a small sensor, the very good image is made for something potentially made for something if your theme allows the use of long shutter speeds.

You can re -create the technical capacity of X100 with Sony A6700, but there are no special compact about 35 mm equivity lenses to pair with it. A Sony A7C II with 35 mm F2.8 is another option, but you are flowing forward and further from the idea of a good looking, pleasant or compact camera at that point, and the risk of your expenses.

The continuous decrease of X100VIS attracts the previous model, instead. The series has developed for more than fifteen years and six models, with commendable improvement each time. The X100V is still a very good camera, even if it remembers VI’s high resolution sensor and image stabilization. The problem is that their popularity also moved towards the end of their product life, so their second hand prices can be as off-potting as VI.
The X100F was the fourth-generation X100 and at the time of withdrawing this further step, you feel that you go to the earlier lens design, low streamlined body and certain rear screen, as well as with a display drop you will expect the appropriate expectations from an eight year old camera. This can still be an appropriate option, but it is only worth taking when you can get it at a significant discount compared to the list of X100VI, which is currently not a possibility. We will not recommend going ahead in that series.
Fujifilm X100vi, is it worth waiting?
Sadly – and even more when we tried to address this question with the X100V – in fact Fujifilm is not a great option for X100VI. It is an excellent camera and one for which is somewhat commendable options, and those who are there are also in low supply.
