The owners of this East London Cottage expanded their kitchen when they hired GRDN designers Paul Dafi and Peter Robinson to renew the outer location of their house. “After the building work, he was left with an empty canvas,” says Dafi. “They wanted something to be used, but there should also be a good view from behind, as there are lots of (glass windows).”
The backyard was attached to an old three -storey factory behind it, but looked very industrial. “The owners wanted it to become a bit soft and a green space inside the city, where they could rest and entertain,” Dafi says. “Now they love it completely.”
