Week Bathroom: Tight Bath becomes a soothing sanctuary

“After” photos by Ali Rosa Photography

Bathroom at a glance
who lives here: A couple with two children under 5 years of age
Place: Walpol, massachusetts
size: 120 square feet (11 square meters)
Designer: Sierra M. Heartley off Laurel wreath house

First: The traditional style bathroom had a deep ceramic tile floor, light brown walls and an oval sink and a basic brown double vanity with a granite countertop. A large plain mirror and dated lighting was hung above the pride. “Pride was very dark and they did not like the tone of granite,” Hartley says.

An alkov tub was sitting with pride, which had a water cupboard, which was stuck next to the back. Hartley says, “We talked about whether we should move to the toilet as it is sitting in a major condition.” “From a cost point of view, it was understood to keep the toilet where it was.”

A small stall shower captured the other side of the wall of a partition near pride (on the right). “It was too young to them,” Hartley says. “It was one of the major components he wanted to upgrade.” The white door that appears on the right right leads to a linen closet.
