• Medium bark: This red bark is the most common type that people think when they think of wet grass.
• Cedar Play Chips: While this type is common for playgrounds, McKeri says that it actually carries nitrogen from the soil, so be careful.
• Dark Fine Mulch (Compost): McKeri says it is his company’s personal favorite. “It breaks more quickly, however, so it will need to be replaced,” they say.
