“Topping enables us to experiment with a design in which the house itself becomes a land expansion,” Meg Graham, Partner SuperclaTold Desanne. “Customers were thrilled with the possibility of an exaggerated roof which is once the most defined and defective characteristics of the house.”

The oversized roof reflects an adjacent courtyard, hidden from the scene by a slat screen.
