Trump details stranded NASA’s plan to bring back astronauts back to Earth: ‘Bring them home now’

President Donald Trump provided an update on NASA’s astronauts, which were ready to return to Earth.

The President also took a swipe at his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, and “mistake” about Wilmore and Williams. Trump also talked about participation in Elon Musk and Space X’s return mission.

“It began when I asked Elon Musk to go up and get abandoned astronauts, as the Biden administration was unable to do so,” Trump claimed. “They embarrassly forgotten astronauts, as they considered it a very embarrassing event for them – another thing that I inherited from the unsuccessful group of disabled.”

“Elon and I have taken SpaceX Dragon to the project, which has successfully docked and expected, while such a mission always threatens, they will soon stay on their home path – they will be on the way – tomorrow and land on Wednesday,” he said.

Trump also said that the officials will release more information about the return of astronauts in the coming days.

“Security always comes first, and maximum standards are being followed. But for a mission that was considered eight days after eight long months, it’s time,” he concluded. “I am eager to see Booch and Listen, and thank NASA and Janet Petro again!”

Williams and Wilmore are stranded at the International Space Station (ISS) since June last year. Originally plans to stay in space for only one week, they have waited patiently to return to Earth as the issues were forced to bring NASA Boeing Starlineer Empty back in the last summer.

On Sunday, the crew of SpaceX arrived at the ISS to relieve Williams and Wilmore, who will enter their own SpaceX capsules back to Earth.

Splashdown is scheduled at 5:57 pm on Tuesday for Williams and Wilmore’s long -awaited return to Earth, if everything happens according to the plan.
