Connection: Sports Edition is now out of beta, making its debut Super Bowl Sunday9 February. This is an indication that the game has earned sufficiently loyal players that the Athletic, the membership-based sportsmanship of The Times, will continue to publish it. This does not appear in the NYT Games app, but now appears in its app of athletic. Or you can continue to play it free online.
