Parents will also be informed automatically when their teenager uploads a public video, story or photo. Tikok says that this will help the parents to inform the parents about what their teenager is posting without disrupting their creativity.
Parents now get more visibility in privacy settings that their teenagers choose. For example, they can see if their teenagers (the age of 16–17) have enabled the download to their content, or if their following list is visible to others.
Tiktok is also launching “Creator Care Mode”, which automatically filters all the comments identified as aggressive, inappropriate or unholy. It also filters comments from users whose comments are reported, disliked, or removed.
Tiktok says that this feature uses AI to understand how the user is blocking and removing the material. Therefore, if a manufacturer repeatedly removes or reports some types of comments, those types of comments are less likely to appear in their comment section.
A new comment equipment for Tiktok Live will allow the creators to completely block a word from their comments. In addition, those users who used to comment on the first phrase or who commented on the phrase in the future will be silent for the manufacturer’s chosen period.
