Thousands of Coca-Cola compartment recalled concerns about ‘foreign object’ contamination


The Coca-Cola distributor is recalling more than 10,000 soda bottles spread over Illinois and Wisconsin.

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), recall was started on 6 March. On 24 March, the FDA revived recall as class II, which is its second largest risk classification.

864 12-packs of Coca-Cola are being remembered-which means 10,368 compartments of dear soda are at risk of plastic.

The FDA lists the reason for remembering as “foreign commodity (plastic)”, but a reason was not given to the drinks.

Class II recalls that it includes products that can “cause temporary or medical adverse health results or where the possibility of severe adverse health results is distant.”
