I have been spending some time with the Lenovo Legion Tab (General 3) in the last few weeks, and I am really impressed. With its 8.8-inch 165hz display, Snapdragon 8 General 3 processor, and a compact form factor that is rare Android tabletsThis creates a great balance between gaming performance and everyday purposes.
But as soon as I am wrapping my review, I am pointing to the signal Lenovo who are already working on my successor. (H/T: 9to5google,
According to a new leak from Digital chat station On Weibo, Lenovo plans to launch an update Legion tab in early May. The upcoming model will allegedly maintain the same 8.8-inch size, but upgrade a 3K LCD, while still smooth 165Hz maintains refrese rates.
This will be a notable leap from the 2560 × 1600 panel on the current version. However, one of my parts will wish that Lenovo will swap LCD for an AMOLED display. The current screen is excellent, but deep black and rich colors will make it even more strong media machine.
Under the hood, the new tablet is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset. It is currently the best flagship chipset on the market, and should offer even more strong gaming performance. Battery capacity may also increase, with a leakage of 7,000 and 8,000mAh a capacity. Interestingly, despite having a large battery, the design is called thinner than the current model.
Other rumors upgrade include dual X-Axis haptic motors and dual speakers, which can help increase overall experience. The leikar also indicates on the “competitive product” coming in June, but it is the same information that we have.
However, the big question is availability. The Legion Tab General 3 took some time to reach the US after its debut in China. If this new model follows the same path, we can wait a bit, but here hope Lenovo will speed up things this time.
