This is the same that puts Pixel Watch 3 on my wrist on OnePlus Watch 3

I am in a massive test of Google Pixel Watch 3 and OnePlus Watch 3 as they were announced. Both Smartwatch For the latest wear OS, a beautiful performance, and a smooth construction, and for the use of day-to-day, I will be happy with either with either one. But two watches can not be different in some major areas.

OnePlus Watch 3 has influenced me with her battery life, which proves itself as a true multi-day device. When I am wearing it, this type of feature is a luxury. But great praise is benefited in endurance, loses in OnePlus Watch 3 Heart rate trackingEspecially compared to Pixel Watch 3, which provides some of the most accurate heart rate tracking in sports. So Google has earned a permanent place on my wrist.

It is curious to see how accurate the heart rate tracking of Pixel Watch 3 is? I have received tests to prove this.

Compare competition

Pixel Watch 3 and OnePlus Watch 3 are both excellent devices, each building on the success of its predecessor. However, in my reviews, I rate Pixel Watch 3 A little more, it has four and a half stars and awards OnePlus Watch 3 only fourI did not knock the OnePlus Watch Half Star alone for heart rate monitoring – as well as some other shortcomings – but its wrong trekking was definitely a factor. During my review, it failed to maintain with my chest lease, showing only a limited improvement from OnePlus Watch 2.

With that, chest straps are widely considered as the most reliable tool for cardiovascular monitoring, and not many wrist-based wearbals can provide the same levels of accuracy. To know how OnePlus Watch 3 is directly compared to my competition, I have decided to test the clock against the best Google.

I tested both smartwatches in a series of workouts, including activities such as running, walking, weight lifting, rowing and yoga. With coupled wrist movement, later exercise types can be particularly difficult to wear wrist-based. I also tracked some gap workouts how each device handled the changing intensity. For stability, I kept my chest lease throughout the sessions to use as a reliable base line for comparison.

The following graphs represent my findings at the heart rate accuracy of each device. TLDR? Google delivers.

In the above diagram, you can see how both watches compare a reliable heart rate-tracking chest strap, polar H10. While the Pixel Watch 3 shows almost correct alignment, OnePlus Watch 3 also did not perform. During high-spurning workouts, the clock continuously lagged behind, showing the extreme heart rate late because I revived my gaps. This was not a great start for OnePlus, but as I said, I was most interested in seeing how the watches headed the head.

For the rest of my workouts, I wore a dedicated chest strap, both watches (on the opposite wrist). The graph above shows another interval workout, this time on a rowing machine. The Pixel Watch 3 clearly tracks more closely with the chest strap, while the OnePlus Watch records several discrepancies.

When I took all three devices to the gym for weight training session, things did not improve for OnePlus. The zoom-in section above shows how both watches struggle to nail my heart rate compared to chest strap. It is quite expected for this activity type, as stress on your wrist makes it a hard workout for smartwatch. However, once again, Google’s clock aligned closely than OnePlus, even though it did not produce the right data.

OnePlus Watch 3 is enough for wide visual heart rate tracking, but it is not accurate like competition.

It is clear that while OnePlus Watch can handle medium workouts such as 3 runs and walk, it is not quite reliable as Pixel Watch 3 for detailed tracking. In particular, both watches and polar strap had a very similar average heart rate for all my workouts. This suggests that OnePlus Watch is capable of Big-Picture Tracking, even if it cannot always provide pinpoint accuracy. As someone currently trained with an eye on heart rate areas, however, I am expecting the most accurate reading that I can find. Similarly, for serious athletes, looking at their own training data and trends closely, accurate tracking is important.

Google is after my heart

For the average user, the possibility of heart rate tracking of OnePlus Watch 3 will be sufficient. Its comprehensive visual heart rate data (eg average BPM) align with what you expect from similar devices, and its heart rate fields are useful during workouts, with high heart rate alerts as an easy feature. However, athletes are looking for more accurate Fitness tracking Or people like me want to close their heart rate closely during workouts, who want to consider other options. At a detailed level, performance of OnePlus Watch 3 is equally inconsistent than the price competition, especially Pixel Watch 3. A close look reveals ups and downs, delayed spikes and less reliable data.

In contrast, Pixel Watch 3 stands for me with extraordinary heart rate trekking. Thanks to an advanced sensor and better algorithm, it provides accurate and reliable heart rate measurement through various workout types. It proved to be equally reliable, tracking everything from Burpi to Light Walk. Google provides data that even the most expanded-oriented athletes can rely.

Google’s Pixel Watch 3 stands with extraordinary heart rate trekking.

Not everyone shopping for smartwatch will care about digging in the Nitti Gritti of their heart rate tracking. As I mentioned, OnePlus Watch is quite good for most. For now, however, my heart is taken by Google’s sensor.
