These 5 floring trends are fading rapidly and designers say it is time to move forward



The floor is the foundation of any room – empty canvas on which you decorate the rest. Not only the floor can set tone for any space in your home, but the floor is expensive and there is nothing that we often replace, so it is important to correct it for the first time.

Gray-toned wooden floor

Hexagon mosaic tiles

When they were super cute, they were also super impractical, and so it is no wonder that this floor style has not met the test of time according to the hofter.

“People are moving towards materials such as real renovated wood or modern, which move to rustic texture that feel a bit more timeless and natural.”

All this is about adding heat to your house where you can.

High-gloss floor

Ultra-shine flooring, whether it is polished hardwood or shiny tiles, may feel a lux in a space. But these surfaces are quickly out of favor as they are incredibly difficult to take care.

“Once thought of adding a touch of luxury, high-gloss floors actually show every scratch, sme and dust,” says Hofstators.

Today, designers and home owners are equally bent towards mat or satin finish It makes more natural, understanding, and, most importantly, can withstand the everyday life and face tears.

Narrow wood floor planks are popular, especially to make more Traditional formBut recently, they have started receiving a bit of a bad rap because “they can feel a floor busy and dated”, called Hoffstators.

On the other hand, broad floor placards are great to feel a space larger, cleaner and more luxurious, which is the cause of their growing popularity.
