The first preview of Google of Weare OS 6 has come, with some major redesign in the tow. There is a first look here.
Material 3 expressive updates
Weur OS 6 is the first version of Google’s smartwatch OS, based on Android 16. According to the QPR1 update of Android 16, it means bringing the new design language of the platform, the content 3 expressive into the fold.
The new design language can be seen in some places, when the lists are finished, there is a new “bubble” shape for the bottom buttons, which completes the radius of the performance. This app is most easily viewed in drawers, notifications and multitasking menu.
You can also see material 3 expressive effects throughout the design language. Quick settings have new, boulder icons found in Google’s design, and the unlock page has new animations that feel right at home in the content 3 expressive.
It is not overbier, however, at least in this initial preview of Wear OS 6. Google will probably have some more updates and refinements in front of the full release – for example, in this construction has not been updated to match the new design, but they are, but they are, but there are, but there are. Confirmed To come – but look good to start things.
Adaptable color theme
Perhaps the biggest update in the wearing OS 6 is that you have come the themeing material. By default it is based on the face of your watch and as you swap between the faces. Whenever you change the face of the clock, and the themeing occurs, a “application theme” message shows the message Very Widespread over OS. You will find it on information, buttons, quick settings, and more.
Beyond automated subjects, however, you can also set a theme manually. Under the Settings> Display> Color Theme, you will be presented with eight different color theme options.
- Moonstone: Gray and Purple
- Ivy: Of green colour
- Porcelain: Bang ton
- Iris: Light purple with green color
- Lemongrass: Purple and green with blue
- Z: Green tones
- Indigo: Blue with pink accent
- Peony: Pink and Purple and Marun
Or, if you wish, you can completely close colors and get a subject that is purple with some orange accent – an interesting option for “no subject”.
When will OS 6 be available?
For now, wear OS 6 is present only in Android Studio as a preview. There is no way to load it on the Pixel Watch, and no update is going on yet. If history serves as an example, the OS 6 Wear will first start on Samsung’s next Galaxy Watch release, in July, before going to the later year later for the Pixel Watch. Samsung taking on updates will also lack design changes seen here.
