To say that 17 -year -old Mirra is making a brilliant start for Andreva year, tennis will be the world’s biggest understanding. Congratulations to Indian wells! What does this trophy mean to you?
Thank you! Of course, I mean a lot to win such a prestigious tournament. This is super special. I feel more confident after winning the tournament.
How are you paying attention to new media? Does it affect your game?
I think any player winning the tournament will attract this attention from the media, so I think it is normal and it does not affect my game at all. I am able to close my mind in court and only think of tennis.
Who is your tennis idol and why?
It has always been Roger Federer. When I see him, he looks so comfortable, fearless and elegant at the same time. I would like to be able to meet them one day and chat a little, although I will be a super nervous.
You recently became a Rolex testimony. What does that partnership mean to you?
It was my dream to work with Rolex because of Roger, and I was very excited when I got a chance to work with the team Rolex. They have given me a lot of support, so surely they are good to be on my side!
What has been your favorite Nike tournament outfit that you have worn so far?
My favorite nike outfit I wore was 2022 French OpenIt was super cute and also super comfortable.
If you can design your dream nike kit, what will it look like?
I want both a dress and a skirt and a tank top so that I can have options if I want to change. The color will probably be the navy blue with light brown, or just those colors are super good. Then I will add my early, a ladybug, or some sparkly.
