The PCB has reached the ICC for explanation after the Indian national anthem played incorrectly for a moment at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Espncricinfo understands that PCB is unhappy with error, which he has blamed for the ICC. A PCB official told ESPNCRICINFO that as it is an ICC tournament, the ICC has produced and distributed Anthem Playlist, with the ICC in charge of playing Anthem before the matches. PCB also questioned the presence of Indian anthem in the first place playlist, as India is not playing any of its matches in Pakistan but in Dubai. The ICC believes the error was a technical, but is investigating the case with the third party supplier.
This was a departure from the broadcast graphics for other matches of the tournament, which included the tournament opener between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi, where the ‘Pakistan’ broadcast along with the incident.
The ICC placed it down for a technical mess, although this was an explanation that did not satisfy the PCB. The ICC assured that this kind of thing would not be repeated, even if sports are happening. This means that the name of Pakistan on the official on -screen logo – the most high -profile competition of feed -tournament for Sunday’s game between India and Pakistan in Dubai.
The game between Australia and England attracted the largest crowd of the tournament so far, and was the most dramatic, as Australia defeated England by five wickets with 15 balls and chased a record 351.
