This evening, the 2025 Academy Museum Celebration gets underway in Los Angeles. Each year, this star-studded event raises funds for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures to support its various exhibitions, education initiatives and public programming. This year’s co-chairs are Jon M. Chu, Common, Viola Davis, Julius Tennon, Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey, Jennifer Hudson and Alejandro Ramírez Magaña.
Tonight, several celebrities will also be honored with awards, including Penélope Cruz (Icon Award), Bruce Springsteen (Legacy Award), Walter Sayles (Luminary Award), and Bowen Yang (Vantage Award).
