Temron has announced It is working to bring its 18–300 mm F3.5-6.3 DIII-A VC VXD lens to RF Mount and Z Mount. While it belongs only to the company Second RF lensIt stands even more on Nikon’s system: it is the first third-party APS-C zoom lens with an autofocus declared for Z Mount.
This is more groundbreaking than a long list of qualifiers. Nikon’s lineup of APS-C-Focused Zooms includes just four lenses, and they are not ready to buy heavy, larger and more expensive full-frame lens until you are available. Nikon also does not offer a lens with this large of a zoom range, nor as a access.
Tamron says that 18–300 mm “was the world’s first lens to receive a zoom ratio of 16.6x, when it was released in 2021 for Sony e Mount and Fujifilm X Mount.” earlier this year, Sigma announced 16–300 mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS contemporary, which beats very slightly when it talks about zoom ratio. It is also available for RF Mount, although not for Z Mount.
While some photographers do not find the all-in-one-one zoom exciting, they may provide much versatility to the shooters that do not want to buy or carry many lenses. Even though this type of lens usually does not have the biggest image quality or light-accelerated capacity, it is difficult to argue that it is not a good fit for more entry-level systems, especially given its huge zoom range. In equal words, its nicon is 27–450 mm and 29–480 mm for canon.

The RF mount version of 18–300 mm F3.5-6.3 DIII-A VC VXD will switch to optical stabilization and toes autofocus, as well as a lock switch to expand it. Like E and X Mount versions, the Z mount model will have a lock switch, but no other two.
Tamon says that pricing and availability will be “announced at the latter date.” The lens retails about $ 700 for other mounts.
