Carl Forenier and Olivier Marthi, the pair behind the studio, arrived in a unwanted scenario as pilgrims in Denmark. Her reverence for Jean Nuel, whose Louisiana manifesto emerged from the bench of a museum, which was facing Øresund, directed her to this cooperation with VIPP. While the kiosks of Paris traditionally employ metals and glass, the studio chose wood as the ancient Japanese technology of Shau Sugi Ban.
