Sarmonic announced AirA new dual-channel, 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system is designed for content creators. They facilitate “intelligent” noise cancellation, real-time monitoring and adjustable eQ tuning inside a compact, easy-use-utilization package.
The air aims to provide a small team or single manufacturer with the ability to catch high quality audio easily and in an environment that may not be most favorable such as noisy roads or auditoriums. Sarmonic states that the new MIC has a two-level intelligent noise cancellation, which separates the subject’s vocal frequencies, which is paired with a 6 mm diaphragm, which is considered a standard, which allows the sarmonic air to catch vocals and instruments and their wide tone range. Round shape means that “clean” is for safely fit while keeping the on-camera appearance and the plosivs are least thanks for the front-faceing pickup.
In addition to canceling the noise, the air mix is a built -in limit to maintain audio fidelity, even if the speaker’s range is spread beyond the expected. Sarmonic says that it has also added a -6 DB security track that adds an additional layer of protection against unpredictable spikes.
The receiver has a 3.5 mm output and a 1.05-inch full-colored display that the company says for noise cancellation, profit and easy monitoring and control of brightness. The transmitter weighs 11 grams and is quite small to hide easily in a cupboard.
Another major selling point of air is the design, which the sarmonic has described as “retro-futuristic” with metal shells and “sophisticated lines”. The company says that the new MICs mix the portability with performance and this means that the high-ended creators and even filmmakers have to thank for its hot-shout form factor that allows it to mount it on modern hybrid cameras, while the entire system is sufficient to fit in a pocket. The case doubles as a charger and has a transparent lid, so the creators always know that they have the receiver and two transmitters with them.
Sarmonic Air has USB-C, Lightning and 3.5mm TRS outputs that allow MIC to plug and play with a wide variety of capture systems. MICs also support the output together for two devices (which Saramonic says that one step is designed to support horizontal filming and vertical live streaming).
Similar to other MICS on the market, the receiver unit closes with the camera, and the transmitter can trigger phone recording through a tap, which can immediately begin the recording.
Sarmonic wind Available from 24 June and comes in two versions. The global version (only with Type-C adapter) is priced at a laveler mike without $ 139 and is $ 159 with two laverear mixes.
