The interior of the house was not renovated for many years, so Studios and space The team inspected a comprehensive project, which updated the 275-class-meter interior, maintaining the original features such as Bay window, stained glass and arched doors.
Borust told Dechen, “I have always praised the architecture of the 1930s for its craftsmanship, descriptions and simple geometric shapes, and this house is a beautiful example.”
“Like the owners, I immediately fell in love with the iconic spiral ladder that combines the floor and defines the character of the house,” he said.
“I knew from the beginning that I wanted to respect and expose the original details while designing the interior honoring the heritage of the house.”
At the same time, the program was required to provide contemporary comfort and spaces, comprising family life, one gym, sauna, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, walk-in closet and a drama and a drama and TV room.
To accommodate all this, the studio and space connected the main house to a garage and a small shade behind the property, which also created an internal entrance to the garage.
The original spiral ladder was extended to the attic level and added a dormer window to accommodate the gym and sauna.
The internal plan was informed by the love of customers’ trip, especially in the south of France, where they often spend quality time staying in high-end hotels with friends and family.
“The rich, touch materials such as brass, warm wood and expressive natural stone were paired with customs and contemporary pieces,” said Borust. “The result is a dark personal interior that is still intimate, sophisticated yet comfortable.”
