The essence of this recipe is like my OG protein baggles – you only need some ingredients to make delicious strawberry bagel with 10 grams of protein per bagel. It does not include any growing or boiling, just kneading and frying air or baking!
This is a healthy breakfast or snack option: I am always looking to add a little more protein in my morning, and these bagels get 10G protein per bagel.
They are pink! You can thank these freeze-dry strawberries for the natural pink color of these baggles, which are clearly a hit with my toddlers.
Make them in air fryer or oven: I made them both in the air fryer and oven, and both do great things! If you are making a big batch, then the oven is the way to go.
Especially displayed material
- cottage cheese: My Protein Powerhouse! This recipe uses mixed cheese in bagel flour. It is creamy, delicious and obviously, protein-rich.
- Freeze-dry strawberries: This is why these bagles give their grand pink color! I also add some fresh strawberry slices to the cream cheese that adds great colors. You will buy chopped freeze-dried strawberries and then they (clean) coffee grinders or small food processors will be found in a powder.
- Brown sugar: The only sweetese used in these baggles is brown sugar! They are on the sweet side (how to imo strawberry bagels), so if you want less sweet bagel, feel free to reduce brown sugar.

Not freeze-dry strawberries?
No problem! I tested the recipe with both fresh and frozen strawberries, and both also did a good job. Change freeze-dry strawberries with 1 cup or with fresh or frozen strawberries.
