Southbound Delta Flight returned to Boston after finding out the ‘smokey odor’ in the flight cabin

The statement said, “Delta flight 1398 returned to Boston immediately after the takeoff after detection of a smokey smell in 1398 cabin.” “Our flight crew followed the installed processes and returned safely to Boston. We honestly apologize to our customers for delaying our journey.”

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) also issued a statement about the incident.

The government agency said, “Delta Air Lines Flight 1398 Sunday, on March 2, returned to the Boston Logan International Airport at around 9:35 pm, when the crew reported the smoke in the flight deck and the cabin,” the government agency said. “Airbus 220 Louis Armstrong was going to New Orleans International Airport.
