Sony e Mount receives fast standard zoom option benefits from two companies that you can’t expect

The LK Samyang / Schnider Craznach AF 24-60 mm F2.8 Fe

LK Samyang has announced an autofocus 24-60 mm F2.8 full-frame zoom for Sony’s e-mount. The German lensmaker is the second lens co-developed with Schnider Craznach.

AF 24–60 mm F2.8 14–24 mm F2.8 is announced earlier this year. There was a 24-60 mm mockup CP+ is shown in trade show In Japan, in February.

The company has not provided full specifications of the lens, but the images of the product show it to be relatively compact, possibly from its short-to-normal access, helping it to its long end. On 102 mm long and 500 grams, it sits directly between Sony’s large, heavy 24–70 mm F2.8 GM II and its small, light 24–50 mm F2.8 lenses.

The lens will be formally unveiled at the International Broadcasting Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands on 12 September. We will add more details with being available.

In IBC 2025 in Amsterdam (12–16 September), one of the world’s major exhibitions for broadcasting and film equipment, LK Samyang will officially unveil its latest innovation: AF 24–60mm f2.8 Fe. Co-developed with the famous optical manufacturer of Germany, Schnider-Creznach, it marks the second colleague Zoom lens of the release company and highlights the 5th partnership of LK Samyang in the IBC, which shows its commitment to carry out optical solution for photographers and creators worldwide.

Earlier this year, LK Samyang and Schneider-Kreuznach launched the world’s first front-filter-wort super-wise zoom lens, AF 14-24mm F2.8 Fe for Sony e Mount, which gained strong global recognition. Construction on this success, the new AF 24–60 mm F2.8 fees the lineup to the standard zoom range, which offers unconnected optical quality in a compact and light design for both photography and video production.
