Following the recent murder, a socialist apparel brand called Comrade Workwear is planning to soon release a set of “Most Wanted CEO” playing cards. Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare.
Comrade Workwear founder James Harr announced the plans in a TikTok video on Saturday. Crediting a follower for the idea, Harr explained that the playing cards would be an amalgam of “most-wanted Iraqi playing cards” that US intelligence officers had developed in 2003.
“That’s what I’m thinking behind the card… basically, each suit will be, like, certain types of industries,” Harr explained in the video. “So clubs are going to be like pharmaceuticals and chemical companies. Hearts are going to be like retail and real estate. Things you need to survive.”
“Diamonds will be for technology, finance and media and spades will be for oil and war.”

Harr also developed cards for specific CEOs and encouraged feedback from TikTok users, saying he wanted to launch the venture soon.
“Let me know if you guys dig it because I want them out asap,” he concluded. “So let’s get some feedback.”
Business Owner Feedback Thompson died on December 4. Many social media users also reiterated the same thing. In a TikTok video, Harr described the New York City murder as “good news”, and called the killer his “f–king hero.”
In a separate video, the socialist businessman described the general excitement surrounding Thompson’s death as “amazing”, but urged his followers to focus on “the system” rather than individual officers.
“There is no amount dead ceo It’s going to change the nature of capitalism,” Harr said in a video. “And no matter how terrible it is, you know, what’s happening, we need to maintain the knowledge that this The energy that we have…that’s what’s going to change nothing systematically.”
Comrade Workwear’s website lists its company mission as “creating opportunities for organizing toward education, community development, and liberation.”
“I believe the intersection of art and self-expression has a powerful opportunity for leftists to bring conversations typically confined to the corners of the Internet into the public sphere,” the brand’s website reads. “Clothing is a canvas that brings these dialogues to the streets, into our daily lives and into shared spaces.”
“Whether bringing lightness or sparking meaningful discourse and education, Comrade’s goal is to use our art and clothing to further the cause of building socialism in our lifetime.”
In a statement to Fox Business, Harr described Playing Cards as “a way to help us connect to our class position as workers and learn about the companies and their leaders who are ultimately profiting from our suffering. “
Harr said, “The media wants us to condemn the violence of the murder of a healthcare CEO, but they won’t acknowledge the daily violence that the working class suffers because of the decisions of CEOs and boards of directors.”

“I’m not suggesting that anyone should cause physical harm to anyone, but I want people to know who is making their lives difficult, who is stealing from them, who is dictating that. A few more percentage points of profit are worth their lives, your dear people.”
