England Center Lawrence and Scotland Fly-Haf Russell Bath are team companions, but are ready to face Tismanhem in three of the six nations in a week on Saturday.
And Lawrence said: “I know him very well, and I have no answer to him yet. He is another extraordinary talent.
“I don’t think it’s going after that after that – it is similar to French with Antony DuPont – if you go after that, you make hole elsewhere.
“So it is about being aligned as a team, being defensively alignment, then away from the back of pressurizing them.
“They will have to make tough decisions. Sometimes it will work for them because they are both great players, but hopefully we can pressurize him and stop it as much as possible.”
