Located to the south of the Cofs Harbor in the coastal city of Australia, Australia, “Seholme” is a compact, custom-made modular house designed to create a small footprint without renunciation of style or comfort. created by Mix Using two wide 6 m x 3.5 m container module arranged in an L-shaped, the layout forms a private deck at the back, which originally combines indoor and outdoor living.
Completed in collaboration with the Baldwin Building Group, the house is sheltered by a roof structure that extends to cover the deck and a carport on the front side. Wearing in a low maintenance, 60% recycled wood and 40% recycled plastic makes the tone to the overall, external, eco-conscious approach running throughout the project.
The two modules were implicated by the L-shaped layout, the deck is tucking away from the back of the house, causing a sense of privacy and solitude.
Inside, compact kitchen custom polytech joinry, tasmanian oak shelving, and handicapped green tiles with a backplash balances functionality and beauty. Clever features such as pass-through window, slide-out pantry, hidden fridge and corner shelving ensure that maximum space is maximum.
The lounge room includes the rap-around book storage and hidden wardrobe, and natural light floods through a slipping door for large certain glazing and decks. Throughout the house, thoughtful designs are found in sophisticated detail, from smooth plaster-finished walls to Tasmanian oak vinyl plank flooring.
The bedroom compact is still highly functional, designed keeping in mind both comfort and practicality. A full -sized custom wardrobe with overhead storage maximizes the vertical location, while a built -in desk with inserted in the cold storage supports the lifestyle of the house from a work. Each detail reflects the needs of the customer, causing a comfortable and efficient personal return within the small footprint of the house.
Bathrooms and laundry are effective for washing, looking at the lack of size, keeping in mind the future access. Features such as a detailed 920 mm door, high-set toilet, integrated grab rail, and a large open weight-room shower ensure ease of use in any stage of life. With a matching white stone benchtop and custom joinery in a soft polytech tone, eliminates the kitchen echo, while a curved glass shower screen adds microscopic elegance.
