  • Some XFINITY and Metro delayed system updates by T-Mobile customers cannot activate your new Galaxy S25 Ultra phone.
  • XFINITY has reportedly informed customers that they can only activate their brand-new flagships after 5 February.
  • This issue affects people who use ESIM instead of Physical SIM cards.

Xfininity mobile And Metro by T-Mobile Customers are facing disappointing delays in activating their brand Milky Way S25 Ultras Even though he was in the first line to achieve his pre-or-ordered units. It seems that the carriers were not able to keep Samsung’s ultra-fast shipping speed.

Xfinity are users Reporting on reddit That their latest pre-or-or-or-filed Galaxy S25 ultras are being blocked by activation at least till 5 February, when the carrier is expected to complete the system updates required to support the device. This has questioned the point of pre-ordering a phone to customers which cannot be used for several days.

“Xfinity Mobile says that their system will be updated to include S25U by 5 February, when I can activate my device. I am still not happy, “a reditor wrote, which was earlier given the activity date of 7 February by the carrier.

It seems that the situation is not unique to xfinity. Some metro by T-Mobile customers are also reporting problems with device activation. A customer said the carrier informed him that his current plan was incompatible with S25 Ultra and gave him the option to switch the plans. However, they did not want to make changes.

“I have been the same issue with the metro because it says that my current plan is not compatible. This gives me the option to switch to another plan that is believed to be compatible, but I think it may be that the network has not been updated to work on this phone. Thankfully I have up to 14 to trade in my phone, but it is really annoying that I will not be able to use it until I am allowed to activate it, “he wrote on Reddit.

Both carrier issues are associated with the fact that affected customers are using ESIMS.

Another metro customer found a work -chamber, suggesting that the activation Snafu can be bypassed by switching to a desktop mode in the mobile browser. After completing the process on a separate phone, they were able to successfully activate their Galaxy S25 Ultra on the metro.

“What I did went to the website through my second phone browser. First of all, it gave me the same error about the plan, which is not compatible. I turned off the page and reopened a new tab and turned the website into desktop mode and redefinted the swap device process, and it allowed me to move through the second time and switch to S25 Ultra It was competent, ”the user explained.

Both carrier issues are associated with the fact that affected customers are using ESIMS instead of traditional physical SIM cards. It seems that the network has to upgrade its system completely to support the latest flagship devices yet, which officially go on sale on 7 February.

So far, both Xfinity and Metro have not accepted the problem. We will contact the carrier for clarification.
