We first published this Salsa Chicken Bowl recipe in 2015 and we have taunted it to make it easy and tasty! Salsa in Crockpot is such an easy thing to make chicken and you only need some material – chicken breast and/or thighs, spices and salsa! Then, serve it with a simple sealantro lime rice, fajita vegies, a simple black bean salsa, and enjoy.
Cooking once – eat for days!
What do I like about Salsa Chicken, this is that you can make a huge batch and then eat it for days! It also makes it really for the right chicken and rice bowl recipe. You can control the spice level with the jar of the salsa you use and you can serve it in various ways.
We prefer to eat salsa chicken in the form of a rice bowl because you can actually pull it out to get a bunch of food out. This is actually the best of food. We added it to some of the most popular dishes of FFF:

How to make slow cooker salsa chicken
Our recipe has both chicken breast and chicken thighs because we like white and dark meat combo!
- Season your chicken with spices and place it on the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Pour on salsa and toss.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook for about 6 hours.
- When chicken is done and is easily chopped, cut the chicken.
Eat your chicken and rice bowls
Whenever I make this chicken and rice bowl, my husband and I eat 2 servings for food and then we give food to the rest.
We suggest using single-service glass food-piped containers to exclude your bowl. Then, you can easily bring them to work with you and do not have to worry about doing everything every morning!

Add the ground cumin, chili powder, sea salt and garlic powder to a bowl and mix to combination.

Add chicken to a slow cooker and season with a spice mixture. Toss the chicken until the mixture is fully coated. Put the salsa over the chicken.

Cook the chicken for 6-8 hours or for 2-3 hours or until the chicken reaches the internal temperature of 165 .F.

When chicken is done, remove the chicken from a slow cooker and cut it. Remove the liquid from a slow cooker, but later save it.

Add the chopped chicken back to the slow cooker and add sufficient to the sauce to coat this chicken. To stay hot, place the chicken in a slow cooker.

If you make fresh rice, prepare rice according to the instructions on the package.

Toss ripe rice with sealantro, lime juice and salt. Cancel.

Prepare bean salad. Add all the ingredients to a large bowl for bean salad and toss to combine. Cancel.

Heat 1 tbsp of avocado oil in a large pan on medium/high heat. Add onion and chili to the pan. The season with salt and step is cooked for 3-5 minutes or through the bus.
