When? Christian rasmusen On Sunday, the first person emerged from his number 21 Chevrolet to celebrate the victory of his first NTT Indycar series, the first person to greet him was the teammate. Alexander Rossi,
It was a rare moment of pleasure for two drivers and an organization, which gave mixed results in 2025.
“Your first career win is a moment that you will never forget clearly,” Rossi said later. “It is very big for your career, and that year is very good at the Oval.
“It has also been a long time for ECR. It has been a hard double year for them. … It is never an easy road and we still have a lot of work. But it is just a wonderful achievement for the organization today.”

Ed Carpenter Racing expected to have rising pain in 2025. The company had a big new appearance, which brings to Rossi – 2016 Indianapolis 500 winner and 2018 Championship Runner -up – Rinsus wakeBut Rossi arrived with a win from the pre -five sessions and was entering an organization with just one podium three years ago.
Rossi told Indycar.com in January that he knew that the organization was “not going by the results that have suddenly won in the last few years,” but felt that “the numerals had the ability to surprise many people in the numerals.”
This proved to be correct on Sunday in Milwoki Mile, as the company placed both cars with an aggressive strategy in the top-four, with Rossi’s team partner Rasmusen, who jerks the ground to conquer its first series.

When Rasmusen first arrived in Ed Carpenter racing in 2024, the 2023 Indi NXT champion was only to compete with the road-and-star courses in number 20 Chevrolet. The Ed Carpenter himself was still piloting the machine for oval, so in Indianapolis 500, out of a run, Dane meant to avoid oval.
Carpenter stepped out of the cockpit outside Indianapolis in August 2024. Since that year, Rasmusen has emerged as one of the top small oval drivers of Indicar – a fact that he was able to perform in dramatic fashion in the closing stages of Snap -on Milwoki Mile 250.
Rossi was the leading ECR driver for the wholesale of Sunday race, which moved upwards from 12th to reduce the entire area on the opening pit sequence. But when a brief rain shower opened the door to the pit for fresh rubber for both drivers, it opened the door for Rasmusen to grow from the sixth to the sixth.
Unfortunately for Rossi, he did not have the same small speed. California crossed the 11.45 line behind its team partner, the checker could reach the fourth place before the flag.
“We saved the tire through practice for that scenario,” said Rossi. “I just want to be able to be a little strong on that restart. Caught a little fighting with Peto.
“What is this. I mean, it was still the right call, obviously. It won the race.”
Even without victory, Rosie both were smiling on the pit road after a rare moment of shared success for the ECR teams. Each driver has shown a glimpse of the promise at different times this year. Rossi opened the season with three top 10 in four races and earned his second-tip-five times on Sunday. Rasmusen came third in the World Ride Technology Resway and there were three top 10s in five races in Wisconsin.
ECR had speed. But the company had to see Excels for both teams in the same weekend till now. Finally changed on Sunday. It marked the first race in 2025, where both drivers ended in the top, or even the top 10.
Milwauki results were a success. And with just one race in the 2025 season, it gives Rossi, Rasmusen and Carpenter a collective success to manufacture a year before a year before by individual moments.
“There were a lot of missing opportunities this year,” Rossi accepted. “… There are some very good moments and really disappointing moments, but eventually I thought we knew that, especially on elliptics, the speed was in the car. We showed today.”
