Luka Bracell’s luck was on Monday as he finished Ding Junahui to book his place in the quarter -finals of the World Snooker Championship.
The 2023 champion has shown a glimpse of his real success in Sheffield two years ago, and his latest victory was unavoidable as he started the evening season at 12–4.
After the restart, he duly controlled the 42–0 lead. However, a poor position shot on blue color was impressed by her from Yellow Ball, forcing her to change the plan. After consultation, the Belgian player selected the pink to line the bottom pocket instead.
A furious bracell recalled the vessel, pink shoring from the jaw and back to the table. However, in a magnificent bit of fate, it bounced two cushions back and made everyone a nest in the middle pocket, but sealed the frame.
“Will you believe it?” Said BBC Commentator Dennis Taylor. “Ding Junahui can’t believe what he is looking at. It’s one of the best fluk you will ever see. Take a look at it. Boy Oh Boy.”
