The RayNeo X3 Pro is an update to the AR glasses series I’ve tried beforeBut this time they have become much smaller. The 3-ounce glasses look fairly normal in RayNeo’s photos, yet they have built-in dual micro LED displays that project onto transparent lenses via wave guides. RayNeo’s previous glasses had a VR chip to power AR/AI features, the same chip as the Quest 2. This time, glasses will be used Qualcomm’s AR 1 Gen 1 chipset It focuses on shrinking the size of glasses and optimizing for AI. They still have dual cameras, room tracking, and even hand tracking. The X3 Pro is arriving in late 2025, at a still-undisclosed price.

Will the X3 Pros be better and more reliable? Hopefully CNET will get their hands on a demo soon, so we’ll know more. These glasses don’t appear to be a part of Google’s upcoming AR- and AI-focused Android XR just yet, though it would make sense for them to be at some point.
The RayNeo Air X3 display glasses are similar to display glasses made by Xreal and others, with promised audio and video improvements.
RayNeo’s other new glasses follow familiar forms: there are the X3 Air display glasses, available from Xreal and others. RayNeo promises a 200,000:1 contrast ratio, a 201-inch equivalent virtual display, and better audio, but they don’t seem to be able to auto-anchor the display like new. xreal one specs Can – and there is no specific information on field of view or display type. The V3, meanwhile, are camera-equipped glasses with audio, similar to Meta’s Ray-Bans. It looks like all these specs are coming in the second half of this year, but still, no pricing is available yet.
The biggest thing for me, however, is how small the X3 Pro glasses are. AR glasses that come close to the type of Meta’s promising accessories are starting to arrive, though Reno’s field of view is undoubtedly much smaller… and its software services are still relatively unknown.
