How good it is to find Reez Cooper back with his name collection in Paris, as well as a lookbook he shot himself. Settings are shocking, almost untrue, yet they rushed a small crew to this remote location, some three and a half hours north of Los Angeles, where the depth of the area is like a California spin on a renaissance painting. He worked on new possibilities and counterpoints from military style cuts and counters, until a drawstring trench coat and three-fly waterproof nylon in cargo pants and woven houndstoths, until the bomber of the room. In other places, a silhouette appeared as a double-breadd blazer with a strategic gear adjustable bungee koring. Between the deep Navy and the offered tons, the burnt orange brought a boulder autumn energy that especially interesting to the top-to-down.
After the journey, Cooper shared the idea: “All clothes, especially during coats and blazers, design an abstraction of outdoor costumes.” The abstract approach is one that establishes some distance from the ideal- and/or gorpcore that are clear categories for labels- and of course apply to its latest trail boots. As the cooper grows up (let’s forget that she was a teenager when she gave birth to her brand), clothes are also maturing. While he detects his presentation strategy for the upcoming sessions, the collection has properly retrieved Rees Cooper on the map.
