The Saskatchevan Rurunrider Foundation has made a historic investment for $ 1.8 million to support football programs across the province.
In partnership with Football Susketewan, the Rafar Foundation will distribute 1,000 brands-new helmets to more than 125 football teams across the province, which will take six-man footballs of small town to big city high school programs. Upgradation of these devices has been thanked for the support of Rider Nation and success from last year’s ISC-50-50 draws.
“This investment displays our unbreakable commitment to amateur football and ensures that these young athletes have access to quality equipment,” Suskechewan Reforder Foundation Executive Director Sindi Fuchs said in a statement.
“We are incredibly grateful to ISC for the support and partnership running through a 50-50 draws, taking such initiatives. We also increase our honest praise for football Saskchewan for their constant support and cooperation.”
“This initiative is a game-changer for amateur football in Susketewan,” Jeff Susckele’s CEO said in a statement. “The support provided by the Reflerger Foundation will greatly increase our programs, making athletes and coaches capable of growing within the game we love.”
This amateur is the first of the many investments being made by the Refurder Foundation in football. The Regina Rams Football Program recently provided a significant investment at the university, including new helmets, underlining the ongoing support and commitment of the foundation for football excellence in Suskechewan.
