The British Ace Lloyd Glasspool has officially become the new world number 1 in the doubles to date.
Glasspool and his partner, Julian Cash, went to the line of 22 matches, who laid the title in Queen’s, Eastbourne, WimbledonAnd Toronto, before losing in the weekend Cincinnati semi -finals.
“This is a wonderful feeling, it’s something to tell the grandson,” Glasspool said after becoming a top ranked doubles player.
“It is probably more special on that side, rather than that you really play. But I think it is a good reflection of the year we have.
“Number 1 as well as the team, I and Jules, we have such a great year, so good in the last few months, I think it is worthy.”
