A failed treatment for a rain on Friday evening? A touch of retail therapy – a glass is performed by champagne. And so, the friends, fans and followers of the Presley Oldhaim dripped on the fifth floor of Burgdorf Goodman to gather on the fifth floor of Burgdorf Goodman, raising a toast for the start of the jewel designer in the stored department stores – and perhaps raise a pear treasure to take home for the weekend.
Standing next to a glass case, Oldam smiled while displaying its latest works. “We have already sold something,” he told Circulation“It has gone mad in a few months, but it was in work for years, so I am thrilled.”
“Crazy a few months” can be an understanding. After presenting his first live show at New York Fashion Week last September, Oldam was nominated for Emerging Designer of the Year at CFDA Awards and was also a finalist for CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Since launching its brand in May 2020 – at the height of the epidemic – their following have developed continuously, Kaya is inspired by the support of Garbar, Hari Neph, Kendrick Lamor and Gabriel Union. A few days before the Bergdorf festival, Eva Chen wore a custom Oldham design for Met Gala.
JW dressed for the occasion by JW Anderson in a silky black frame shirt and Palazo pants – birota from her mother’s wardrobe, a fashion industry veteran -Oldam proudly showed her favorite piece of evening: Cumulus Necklace, Sterling Silver and Baroc winged pearls. 14K Gold presented in Gold, one-one-one version, especially designed for Burgdorf, will be available through July (and “hoped that longer,” they said).
To celebrate, there were philanthropist Lauren Levison and his dogs in the stylish crowd to celebrate – who happily designed some jewelry -coach creative director Stuart Weavers, and fellow young designer Christian Coven and Kate Burton, who tied with Oldham through the fashion fund program. Actress Dane Benton, who plays on Pegi Scott Guilded edgeSome pieces were seen trying to approve her character.
Julie Gilhart, who invited Oldam to participate in Barney’s pop-up, which featured the emerging New York designers, who also came. So the fashion director of the reality, Nole Skiaka, first participated with Oldhaim on two upset collections made of vintage jewelery.
If the schedule pack of the oldam seems to be, it is only a glimpse of what is next. He soon teased a new product category, as well as a great jewelry presentation for the September New York Fashion Week. Till then, shopkeepers can see their latest collections on Burgdorf’s performance – which is only growing the star of Oldam.
