First: With a drop of about 6½ feet from the end to the end, this part of a couple’s yard in Southern England was not simply usable. And under a newly added studio, a difference exposed the inequality of the terrain and designed for a strange entry. The couple tasked the landscape designer Henry Scott, which they found on Hauz, converted the slope into an area where they could rest and entertain, and better include studios.
