We often look for striking topics somewhere else, while the hidden gems are correct under our nose, just waiting to be discovered. This week, photographer Petra Jaan Juraka, spending time with Juraka, I had a lifetime chance, which organizes a large -scale vertebrae from the biggest trisratops skeleton ever. The next day, I went to Prague streets to capture sample images for our upcoming Nikon Z 35 mm F/1.2 review. It is always interesting to be a tourist in your city, tries to look at familiar scenes with fresh eyes. And when I was doing these experiences, the world of photography continued – what was brought to us here this week.
Recent announcements
- Wiltrox AF 135 mm F/1.8 Lab for Z-Mount: Sony users have been enjoying this lens for some time, and now it is Nikon’s turn. Focal length and aperture Nikon Z 135 mm F/1.8S is similar to the plana, but the lens vary in lots of details. For example, despite having two low elements, Wiltrox is quite heavy (1265g vs 995g). It can also focus 10 cm around (0.72 m vs. 0.82 m). And the biggest difference is the price – Wiltrox comes in $ 899, while Nikon’s Plana costs $ 2,497. - Canon EOS R5-Series Smallrying Cooling Fan: Smallrig does not just make cool things – it also makes cooling things. This new secondary canon promises to increase the recording period of R5 and R5 Mark II significantly. But YouTube channelSmalling claims that the fan can completely eliminate overheating issues when recording at 4K for an extended period of time. The VCM canon is about to expand the lens lineup.
All three existing canons shares VCM lens-24 mm, 35 mm, and 50 mm-most major features: a maximum aperture of F/1.4, Voice Coil Motor (VCM), a de-red aperture dial, and even the same form factor. This makes them equally favorable for both photography and video.
Next week, Canon is expected to officially announce a broad lens in the lineup, Canon RF 20 mm F/1.4 L VCM. A 28 mm F/1.4 L VCM is also expected soon, as well as “two lenses are longer than 50 mm, but one of them will slow down by f/1.4”. Will these long lens rumors 85 mm and 135 mm? And what will be their maximum aperture? We have to wait a little to find out.

Canon teases two “V” cameras
Only one of them, however, is a real surprise. One of the two is undoubtedly canon Powershot V1, which was first seen in CP+ in Japan last month. However, it was officially declared to the Asian market, not globally.
The second camera remains a mystery. Some new rumors based on the silhouette included in the teaser image-it appears to be an APS-C sensor and a compact, entry-by-level vologging camera. It is expected to be around $ 650, the rumor to launch the camera with a new zoom lens – possibly characterized by a power zoom function. The focal length of this lens is called 15–30 mm, although its speed is unknown. Most likely, it will be a slow lens, priority to compactness at speed. In an ideal world, extinction will be a very rare event. Unfortunately, reality tells a different story. Therefore, any breeding success that helps in reversing the tragic fate of a species is worth celebrating. The latest but important reason of Joy comes from Prague Zoo, where five Duck of rare duck species of the world – Brazilian Merginser (Merger octocetus) – Hesmanized.
