Protein Girls, I am back with another protein cinnamon roll recipe! This is absolutely delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Cinnamon Roll Made with simple ingredients, there is no time, and some timid proteins are thanked for PB2 and mixed cheese!
These delicious protein cinnamon rolls make 6 rolls (I love making mine in a muffin tin! The rolls are very completely ripe), and pack 10 grams of protein per rollYou are completely peanut butter-Y, and chocolate chips melt in flour when it bakes-this is actually a match made in cinnamon roll heaven. I hope you love this recipe as much as I do!
- 10 grams of protein roll per cinnamon! All of this is thanks to PB2 and mixed cottage cheese.
- No rise time! Traditional cinnamon roll is a labor of love, and this small batch protein cinnamon roll recipe takes away all the disturbances of the traditional role.
- Small batch! I think this recipe makes only 6 rolls, it is perfect for serving a small group or my Kidos and their friends.
- Peanut butter + chocolate chip There is a taste combo that was just to be together!
Especially displayed material
- all purpose flour: The basis of flour, all-pest flour gives these peanut butter chocolate chip cinnamon which rolls the right texture.
- Mixed cottage cheese: Choose 4% or 5% cottage cheese, and make sure you blend your cottage cheese before mixing it with flour and frosting. This will ensure a smooth stability.
- PB2 Powder Peanut Butter: You will need PB2 for flour, filling and frosting. It adds a great boost of great peanut butter-ji taste + protein.
- chocolate chips: Chocolate chips are correct in flour. I have tested it with standard size chocolate chips -tested with mini chips, and both do great work!
- Maple syrup: Maple syrup and cinnamon is a match made in the sticky roll heaven.
- Brown sugar: To fill, you will get brown sugar with PB2 and ground cinnamon.
Bake in a muffin tin
Since this recipe gives 6 rolls, I like to cook them in muffin tin! Rolls are inflated when they are fully inflated, and look like these grand pictures! If you like to make 4 large rolls instead, I recommend them to baking 4 × 1 in a pav pan. You can also double this recipe to make 12 muffin tin shaped rolls.
here’s a tip!
Wait for these peanut butter chocolate chip protein cinnamon rolls to frost. This will prevent frosting from melting in the roll and will flow too much.
Feel free to prepa and freeze before these times. After rolling your cinnamon rolls, place them on the cutting board or baking sheet. Freeze them personally for 2 hours. Once they are partially frozen, wrap them tightly in plastic rap and freeze them for 3 months.
Be sure to melt them completely before baking.
Store these cinnamon rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for one week. I like to heat the mine in the microwave and add a little more frusting to the top before serving them as the remaining.
-
Preheat the oven at 350 ℉ and spray 6-counter muffin tin with cooking sprays. Cancel.
-
Make flour Start by combining the cottage cheese until smooth. Then add mixed cottage cheese, PB2, and maple syrup to a large bowl and stir to combine. Make sure there are no lumps.
-
Add flour, baking powder, sea salt and chocolate chips to the PB2 mixture. Use a silicone spatula or wooden spoon to combine.
-
Once a ball is mostly formed, rotate the dough lightly on the surface of the dough. Roll the dough in a rectangle about 6 × 10 inch.
-
to fill. Mix brown sugar, PB2 and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Spread it over the rolled flour. Then roll the dough length tightly in a log.
-
Cut into 6 pieces and keep it in muffin tin.
-
For 15-18 minutes or until the toothpick inserted into the center is cleaned. Cold for 10 minutes.
-
While rolls are cooking, make frosting. Add all frusting materials to a bowl and whisk to combine.
-
Cold and serve cold cinnamon rolls.
- I recommend frosting cinnamon rolls before serving. The remaining frosting can be stored in the refrigerator.
- The remaining cinnamon rolls can be stored in an airtight container.
- If cinnamon rolls are uncontrolled before baking, use a little water to seal the end closed.
- If the dough is very viscous, add more flour 1 tbsp at a time.
- You can cut the dough into 4 large size rolls or 6 small cinnamon rolls. I like to bake 6 small cinnamon rolls in muffin tin. Be sure to spray your muffin tin generously with cooking sprays.
